I am a fully trained Kindergarten and Primary Teacher with over 40 years' experience. When it came to choosing an ECE provider for my 2-year-old Grandson, I had many requirements that had to be met. The East Coast Bays Community Crèche met them all.

I am a fully trained Kindergarten and Primary Teacher with over 40 years' experience. When it came to choosing an ECE provider for my 2-year-old Grandson, I had many requirements that had to be met. The East Coast Bays Community Crèche met them all.
What was most important for me was the teaching staff and the relationships the nurtured with the children. The centre provided a deeply caring, kind, gentle, inclusive place where the children's interests were front and centre in all activities. I also believed it was important for all the staff to be trained.
As a grandparent (and this would be true of the parents) I found that the staff were friendly, helpful and willing to communicate about each individual child. Of course, safety is a major concern as well, and I felt very confident that the staff and environment provided a physically, mentally, socially and emotionally safe place for the children.
I highly recommend the centre to any caregiver wanting a quality educational experience for their child.

East Coast Bays Community Crèche is a wonderful place for my son. He started going there just after he turned one, the teachers knew exactly how to get him to settle into the environment. At crèche he enjoyed reading, singing, dancing, playing games and of course construction work in the sandpit. Because our family travels a lot, every
East Coast Bays Community Crèche is a wonderful place for my son. He started going there just after he turned one, the teachers knew exactly how to get him to settle into the environment. At crèche he enjoyed reading, singing, dancing, playing games and of course construction work in the sandpit. Because our family travels a lot, every time when we get back, he may take a little time to re-settle back into crèche life, the teachers never complained, always give him so much care and cuddles. We get so support from all the teachers, I still remember asking Penelope if my son have later start time because I want him to go to swim and dance class, Penelope said just tell us what hours you need, we will support whatever you need to do. We truly appreciate what the crèche has done for our family.

We absolutely love how much the learning environment feels like a family and a true community—so supportive and connected to what Tideus experiences at home. It’s so special to see his personality shining through, just as it does at home, and we’re incredibly proud of his enthusiasm and determination to reach his goals. We are especially grateful for the thoughtful ways the teachers support his personal development, like setting up the low obstacle course to help him grow and succeed.
Every day I leave with stories to share with his dad because the communication is so open and genuine —it makes such a difference. I always feel like a welcome presence and often stay to interact with Tideus because the environment is so warm and inclusive. I couldn’t be happier as a parent, and neither could his dad—he loves hearing about Tideus’s day just as much as I love sharing it.
